WP4 Summary of activities LED Sept. 2016The EEPLIANT Work Package 4, which aims at coordinated inspection, verification and enforcement measures for LED lamps, has already undertaken a series of market surveillance activities following EU energy labelling and ecodesign regulations. Document inspection for 134 models has been conducted, including a screen exercise for 117 models. Full testing of 86 LED models is now under way, including the lifetime and other performance parameters, such as colour rendering, power factor, power, beam angle, etc. Some of the partner national surveillance authorities, have already started formal actions with suppliers, based on inconsistencies found in documentation.
WP6 Overview of activities Heaters Oct. 2016The EEPLIANT Work Package 6, which aims at coordinated inspection, verification and enforcement measures for Heaters, has already undertaken a series of market surveillance activities following EU energy labelling and ecodesign regulations.
WP5 Overview of activities Printers Oct. 2016The EEPLIANT activities will concentrate on confirming compliance to the VA requirements based on the ENERGY STAR v2.0 specification for imaging equipment. Products that are both known to be within scope of the VA and have been used by the VA signatories to meet their coverage targets have been selected. EEPLIANT WP5 activities will include both document inspections and laboratory testing.
